Installations
Anna Masters creates exquisite, ephemeral installations exploring themes of time, change and place. Often site- and time- specific, these artworks are designed to respond to the specific context of a location, event or experience.
Mixed-Media artworks
Masters' delicate and illusory mixed-media artworks are built up over a number of almost invisible layers, resulting in unique and timeless pieces which explore the poetry of time.

Sculpture
Masters' suspended sculptures are an ode to impermanence and the possibility of change. Unlike traditional sculpture, these sculptures have a weightless, ethereal quality.
Public Art
Anna Masters creates public art works focused on participatory action and social impact. Works are designed to respond to their location and context, often through a process of public consultation and participation.

Exhibitions
Immersive and multi-disciplinary exhibitions responding to varied themes around time, place and belonging.
Artistic Practice
Anna Masters' multi-disciplinary artistic practice includes sculptural artworks, immersive exhibitions and participatory public art. Her works are recognisable for their poetic, subtle aesthetic combined with a deep concern for the humanness of experience. Her research centres around the theme of 'place', which has led her to consider how we inhabit physical and temporal spaces, our relationships within society and our lived environments, and the locating of the self within these shifting and contested landscapes.
