Artistic Practice

Anna Masters' multi-disciplinary artistic practice includes sculptural artworks, immersive exhibitions and participatory public art. Her works are recognisable for their poetic, subtle aesthetic combined with a deep concern for the humanness of experience. Her research centres around the theme of 'place', which has led her to consider how we inhabit physical and temporal spaces, our relationships within society and our lived environments, and the locating of the self within these shifting and contested landscapes.
