Time-specific and suspended mixed media art installations

This series of installations are intended to capture a sense of a specific moment in time. Not only do many of the materials appear to have got caught in a state of suspended animation, but the works exist only for a moment before being changed or destroyed. 'Dream Forest' was developed over the period of a two week exhibition, only to be destroyed as the exhibition closed. Meanwhile, '11 Years Unfinished' is an ode to the changing faces of grief; every time is is exhibited the scrawls of charcoal writing are developed and expanded upon, the piece growing as an expression of the continued sense of loss develops over time.
